We publish this because independence you cannot inspect isn't independence.
HypotheX documents the warrant behind high-stakes pharmaceutical R&D decisions. The work is only worth something if it is independent. This policy states the rules that keep it that way.
We do not make the decision, build the model, or own the asset. We do not get paid more if the assessment lands favorably. Our deliverable is the documented warrant, and it reads the same whichever way the evidence falls.
Our fee is set before the work starts and does not change with the result. We charge no success fee and take no contingency tied to a regulatory or clinical outcome. A validator who earns more for a pass is not a validator.
Every engagement returns a band and an action, including "exposed here" or "not defensible." We do not soften a finding to keep a client. The unfavorable result is the one you paid us to catch.
We take no equity in assessed assets, no positions in client securities, and no referral fees from the AI or methodology vendors whose outputs we evaluate. Where any prior involvement or interest exists, we disclose it or decline the engagement.
We do not grade a conclusion higher because a prestigious journal published it, a senior name signed it, or a sophisticated model produced it. The source of trust stays on the evidence.
A good result does not make a weak rationale sound. A bad result does not make a sound one foolish. We assess the decision as it stood at the moment it was made.
Every report states how it was produced, including whether a live domain expert was in the loop, with a disclosed adjustment where one was not. You see the conditions of the assessment, not only its output.
Where the evidence does not support a claim, we say so rather than guess. We make no finding of intent, and we claim no access to confidential information beyond what a client provides.
HypotheX documents decision rationale. It does not predict outcomes, attribute intent, guarantee regulatory approval, or provide legal advice. Public case studies use public information only and assert no finding against any party.
